This amazing and vibrant "Kid Approved" smoothie is bursting with flavour and loaded with lycopene, vitamin A and vitamin C.
1 Cup Coconut Water
1 Red Apple (your choice), core removed
1/2 Cup Strawberries, sliced and frozen
10 Red Grapes, frozen
10-12 Whole Cranberries, frozen
1/4 Red Pepper, seeds removed
1 Tbsp Sweetener - agave, honey, coconut necter
3 Cranberries and 4 Pomegranate Seeds for smiley face
Add all ingredients to blender (except sweetner) and blend for approx 40-60 secs
Taste, add sweetener according to your kiddie’s taste
I recommend freezing the grapes and cranberries, if not the smoothie consistency is too thin. It is better to have a thicker smoothie and thin it out with extra coconut water.
2. For this smoothie, I do recommend adding a sweetener. When you add the red pepper it takes away some of the sweetness.
