INGREDIENTS
1/2 Cup Dry French Green Lentils
Water
DIRECTIONS
1. Add lentils to a bowl or mason jar and cover with water, soak overnight for about 8-10 hrs
2. Rinse lentils well in strainer and drain, place lentils into a mason jar and cover with a nut milk bag or cheese cloth, secure with the metal ring from the jar or use an elastic
3. Place jar with top facing down in a bowl so the jar is on an angle or place on a rack at a 45 degree angle so the water can drain from the lentils
4. Rinse and Drain in strainer, 2-3 times a day and place back in mason jar on angle
5. After the 1st 24hrs you should start to see tails appearing, you should allow lentils to sprout for 2-3 days once they have started to develop tails
6. Enjoy in salads, sandwiches or in dishes like Raw Sprouted Chili
7. Sprouts are freshest within 3-5 days of being sprouted

You can use regular green lentils, I prefer to use french lentils as I find they sprout the best
